Created by celebrated chef-teacher Sukhi Singh, Sukhi’s Gourmet Indian Foods is a family operated, woman-owned company founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1992 following an increasing demand for Indian cuisine using premium, natural ingredients. One of only a handful of USDA-certified and third party audited Indian food vendors, Sukhi’s brings the nourishment, stories and enchantment of India to home chefs and foodies with a taste for the exotic. Sukhi’s culinary creations are available to the public in leading natural and specialty food stores nationwide including Whole Foods, as well as fresh at farmer’s markets and grocery stores across the San Francisco Bay area. Position Summary:
Reports to: SVP Marketing
This position will be responsible for several functions across Sukhi’s product portfolio. The position requires strong organizational skills with attention to detail, a can-do attitude and comfort with considering multiple variables in a project. This position is ideal for an individual that is creative, yet analytically oriented, who is looking to come in at an entry level marketing position and grow into managing brands.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a portfolio of products, packaging & product attributes. Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across the portfolio
- Manage multiple projects relating to product and packaging enhancements working across cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Communicate between Ops, Customer Support and Sales to ensure a smooth rollout of product initiatives
- Manage all product and company collateral, i.e. website, Sell Sheets, Coupons and social media assets
Growth Opportunities Include:
- Opportunities to help develop Consumer insights and provide input in business strategy
- Develop skillsets in Business Analysis and Tracking functions. Tracking Market and Business performance to provide insights and identify opportunities.
- Help research and develop digital marketing initiatives to promote the growing brand.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors in Marketing or a business-related field
- 2+ years marketing or project management experience, CPG Preferred
- Strong communication, analytical and execution skills
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience with collaborate across teams (cross-functional, agencies, etc.)
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence
