Full Job Description

Science in Sport looking for an experienced brand marketing with sharp digital acumen and a passion for endurance sports and nutrition. This role is critical in helping Science in Sport achieve our long-term growth aspirations through increased brand awareness, lead generation, and driving traffic across all key channels. In addition to finding a consumer-centric strategist, we’re looking for someone with a strong background in brand communications, new product development, activation planning, and partnership marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role in setting the strategic brand plans for the coming year.
  • Direct responsibility of all in-country brand creative and allocation of media resources.
  • Own the PR and social media calendar to drive brand awareness.
  • On-going product assortment management including development of NPD launch plans.
  • Identifying and negotiating media, paid marketing, athlete and partnership investments.
  • Work alongside digital and ecommerce counterparts to plan and execute activations to deliver revenue and brand KPIs.
  • Increase brand equity through activation at key industry events and conferences.
  • Design and execute ad hoc consumer research to better inform strategic direction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • At least 6 years in progressive brand marketing roles
  • Excellent oral, written, and PowerPoint communication
  • Proven track record of leading brand communications to deliver strong ROI
  • Strategic, big picture thinking while being a hands-on executor
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tactics
  • Quick, decisive thought leader with a ruthless 80/20 approach to prioritization
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
