About the Role

Good Eggs is working to build the most loved, most profitable purpose-driven food community in the world. We have an immediate need for a WMS Technician to join our operations team, a 24/7 group that optimizes and maintains our warehouse management system (WMS), HighJump. You will be responsible for the implementation, use, maintenance, training, and support associated with HighJump. You will oversee all IT-related needs for the WMS including troubleshooting, timely, accurate processing of orders, and system analysis for improving warehousing and transportation efficiencies. You must be either a proficient or super user of a WMS or ERP to be considered in this role. Experience with HighJump is a major plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for any issues arising with the WMS system. This includes troubleshooting as specified and updating/communicating the status of issues appropriately. For any issues that cannot be resolved, they must be escalated appropriately with all pertinent information thoroughly documented.
• Understand, maintain knowledge of, and implement all WMS software/hardware best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Train new users on all WMS software/hardware functionality and standard operating procedures. 
• Continuously develop and train the operations team on best practices and standard operating procedures. 
• Communicate and train on all systems and processes changes.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prior to all system releases to ensure successful deployments. 
• Act as point of contact for IT needs, such as hardware and network services, relating to WMS.
• Act as point of contact for all training and support for new site preparation, personnel, equipment and future modifications to WMS. 
• Provide leadership during holiday peak season in support of the operation. 
• Continuously support day-to-day operations as directed by management. 
• Other duties or specific projects as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and react quickly to changing priorities
• Experience as a trainer, teacher or a coach
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work in refrigerated areas for extended periods of time

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be either proficient or a super-user of a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP systems
• 2+ years of WMS experience ideally post-implementation configuration and maintenance
• 2+ years of related industry experience. We would also consider work in one of the following areas (farming, farmer's markets, restaurant, or grocery) a plus.
• Ability to use internal software
• Ability to use standard warehousing equipment 
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds
• Ability to tailor training to different learning styles
• Proficiency in Google and/or Microsoft Office Suite (calendar, sheets, slides, docs, etc..)
• Ability to communicate well with technical users, non-technical users, clients, and all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience using HighJump WMS
• Experience as a lead or supervisor
• Experience in training, L&D, coaching, or teaching
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

• Located in West Oakland at 2000 Maritime Street
• Schedule is flexible and anticipated to be Sunday through Thursday to start (weekend availability required)
