Full Job Description

Crafty is seeking two experienced Sales Executives to lead our prospecting and sales initiatives in the Bay Area! Your primary responsibility will be to bring Crafty’s offerings into corporate offices with a relationship-based sales approach. One role will be focused in the Silicon Valley and the other in SF and East Bay. In one sense, we are looking for a Sales Executive who is strategic in nature, hugely driven and a self-starter who loves the sell process - particularly in an enterprise environment. But more importantly, at your core you display the behaviors and cultural fit that have been integral to our business success so far: a willingness to learn and grow, embrace challenges, a team player, and someone who explores and celebrates different perspectives. Since its founding, Crafty’s sales efforts have been largely founder-led, but the appointment of these two roles marks a significant elevation of our business. We’ve grown from small basket e-commerce sales to multi-year, exclusive contracts with blue-chip enterprise clients. Having now just launched into the Bay Area, this expansion marks a fundamental shift in business dynamics and the Sales Executives will join the Crafty team to evolve and execute a constantly improving sales process. The individuals in this role must be entrepreneurial with a strong focus on building and rebuilding systems. We want this product to continue to grow in scalability as time goes on, with the role of the Sales Executive focusing on how to bring more and more clients into the Crafty network. Reporting to the Bay Area General Manager but also closely working with the founders particularly during the on-boarding process, the Sales Executives will benefit from leads generated by our current BDR in Chicago but also will run an end-to-end sales funnel on their own.

In this role, you will:

+ Identify and connect with leads within the corporate office space. + Research, prospect, and build proposals + Close new sales by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations, with an eye on Gross Margin and Revenue targets. + Lead the sales process from deal sourcing, to deal closing, and all the way through a successful handoff to the appropriate client service, operations and on-boarding colleagues. + Demonstrate expert knowledge of Crafty services and technology, as well as differentiating us from competitors. + Maintain and consistently update the deals you own in Crafty’s CRM.

Your experience:

+ 5-10 years of proven sales experience, preferably in enterprise sales + Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and keeping a pipeline full of qualified prospects + Proven ability to prospect and tenacity to find the decision makers within an organization + An active network of contacts and relationships that could potentially benefit from Crafty’s services and technology + History of strong business acumen for uncovering, evaluating, growing and closing sales opportunities within a dynamic and extremely time sensitive environment

Your proficiencies:

+ Microsoft Powerpoint / Google Pages + Skill in consultative selling and relationship building, with a focus on data-driven sales + Effective communications skills (oral, written, and presentation) + Strategic and detail-oriented planner with strong ability to identify and follow-through on leads to create and close deals + Ability to work independently and remotely with high productivity
