Full Job Description

Cocokind is looking for a motivated, self-starting associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will have the chance to see and impact all parts of cocokind’s Operations, helping to manage purchasing, sourcing, inventory control, reporting and analytics, and management of fulfillment, production, and quality control. In addition to this multifaceted role, you will work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and marketing. We are looking for an individual who is willing to “roll up their sleeves” and “get in the weeds”, both literally and figuratively (we produce and fulfill our products in-house!) This position is based in San Francisco, CA and will be reporting into the Operations Lead. 

 

Operations Associate role includes but is not limited to:

    • Purchasing/Sourcing

      • Handling purchasing of all components and raw materials

      • Ensuring organized and constant communication with vendors

      • Forecasting annual needs and negotiating component cost

      • Sourcing new materials for the Product Development Team

      • Identifying and vetting new vendors for future projects

    • Inventory Control

      • Ensure proper inventory of all components and finished goods; prevent out of stock issues with any of the components or finished good

      • Accurately forecasting the needs of materials/components as well as

      • Accurate management of physical inventory v. inventory management system

    • Reporting/Analytics

      • Pull weekly reports for management

      • Develop templates and reporting for various departments

      • Develop long term sales and demand forecasts

      • Develop and update SOPs across departments

      • Track business performance and provide insights and recommendations

    • Project Management

      • Motivate and influence people at all levels and across departments to achieve deadlines and objectives

      • Assist the lead in setting and managing Operations metrics and goals

      • Ensure on-time delivery of project milestones

Ideal Candidate

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle projects from start to finish

    • Excellent analytical skills; ability to gather miscellaneous data, organize and present it in a digestible manner for all levels of business

    • +1 year in inventory control role, forecasting, planning, or analytics role

    • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

    • Experience with Asana, Quickbooks, and other project management tool or ERP systems are a plus

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher
