What you will do:

- Drive strategy and execution of our performance marketing efforts as we continue to scale our client volume, evolve expectations around client value, explore channel mix, and assess overall spend levels.
- Mentor and coach our existing team of strong marketers.
- Be a talent magnet. Recruit & retain for new functions as we grow.
- Love the intersection of algorithms, engineering, creative, finance, and marketing to differentiate how we approach media buying and more.
- Hold a key seat at the table in strategic company decisions around how we should grow.
- Develop key metrics and plans and hold your team accountable to hitting those goals.
- Explore, test and build emerging channel opportunities that we have not yet tested into, supporting our broader goal of channel diversification.
- Maintain and evolve a testing framework to expand our volume & pace of learning across the business
Who you are, and why you're right for us:

- 10+ years of experience in marketing & media buying, overseeing significant budgets that tie directly to revenue targets.
- Amazing people management skills, having experience managing in-house orgs of 15+. You are excellent at recruiting, coaching, and retaining high-performers, and helping lower performers regain traction or move on.
- You’re deep enough understand specific channels (specifically Facebook, YouTube and TV), and broad enough to understand all channels across digital & offline. Experience with Facebook and TV are required.
- You are an expert in attribution and measurement, viewing channel effectiveness through a holistic lens.
- You are a broad business thinker, and can plan our acquisition strategy for new business lines & launches.
- You collaborate well with creative, data, finance, and other functions
- You are a clear, concise and frequent communicator
- You understand complexities of data but act as a simplifier, realizing that data and insights are only powerful if they drive action.
- You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced and feedback driven environments.
- You are bright, driven, kind and generous—and expect your colleagues to be the same (and they are!)
