Position Summary
Are you passionate about fantastic brands, healthy living, and looking for an exciting new opportunity? Rise Protein Bar is seeking an eCommerce Manager to plan and execute a wide range of digital marketing activities to help spearhead an era of tremendous online growth.
This position drives all aspects of digital marketing, which include website optimization, email marketing, SEO/SEM, social media advertising, and Amazon.com. You will report directly to the Founder/CEO, and will work closely with all team members and outside agencies to drive an outstanding digital brand strategy.
Main Responsibilities
- Spearhead all online brand strategy and build exciting digital marketing assets for outstanding growth that are in line with current brand aesthetic and vision
- Full ownership of the growth of Risebar.com website, and build out a significant Amazon.com presence, ensuring content is fresh and engaging with a very strong ROI
- Work with outside agencies and freelancers in order to produce gripping and cohesive brand campaigns for both social media and email marketing
- Create quarterly and yearly budgets that are consistent with a high-growth online CPG brand
- Improve current SEO and SEM tactics so that 3:1 ROI can be achieved by end of 2019
- Conduct ongoing market research, competitive analysis, and consumer feedback to identify huge opportunities to accelerate online brand position
- Plan and execute a unique digital launch strategy for new items
- Identify digital PR opportunities that will further increase brand awareness
- Develop strong relationships and opportunities to digitally partner with key influencers and other CPG brands
- Create digital marketing activations that work concurrently with field activities and retailer marketing programs
- Build out “We Rise Together” community advocacy with compelling digital activities
- Identify new e-tailer sales opportunities
Other Requirements
- 3 – 5 years digital management experience in Consumer Goods
- Previous management of Google Analytics, Amazon.com, Facebook Ads, and email marketing are required
- Experience with online brand building and scaling in a startup setting is preferred
- Previous responsibility overseeing digital marketing budget
- Ability to spot trends in advance – a genuine curiosity for branding and creative
- Outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, resourcefulness, self-accountability, and grit
Location and Other Logistics
This position will be based in Rise Bar’s headquarters of Irvine, California. Travel is required less than 20% of the time, primarily for major digital marketing conferences and collaboration with other CPG brands.
