Pact’s Marketing Analytics Manager will build analyses and insights for our marketing, product development, and operations teams. This role will work in close partnership with our digital marketers and leadership team to measure and manage digital strategy for Pact. They will also act as a consultant and advisor for decision-makers throughout the organization, guiding them in the use of data for understanding complex questions and outcomes. Additionally, the Marketing Analytics Manager will play a primary ownership role in the operation and maintenance of our internal BI reporting tool, Domo. The ideal candidate for this job will have a mix of genuine curiosity, passion for data, and good-spirited conversation.
The successful candidate for this role will:
- Have a strong business sense that allows her/him to quickly understand high-level business questions, objectives, and needs
- Approach analytical problems with a balance of statistical rigor and practical intuition
- Creatively approach quantitative analysis and problem solving
- Proactively QA and gut-check work (their own and others’), and independently investigate potential errors.
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for our data infrastructure’s hygiene - executing maintenance-related tasks, such as site tagging and data flow maintenance, independently so that our datasets remain reliable and accurate
- Develop dashboards, reports and analysis of key metrics
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations, bringing a high level of curiosity and passion to their ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects
- Manage and prioritize a range of projects with a high level of quality and consistency
- Constantly demonstrate excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Requirements/Qualifications
- Excellent analytical skills
- Track record of driving successful business outcomes through analytics and internal consulting/coaching
- Blend of technical savvy and business sense. Comfortable “speaking the language” of digital marketers, business-line owners, and developers
- Extremely detail oriented and able to spot suspicious data quickly
- Team-oriented and excited to coach support others in achieving aggressive goals - able to build strong working relationships across the organization
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel
- Experience in SQL (including writing SQL queries)
- Comfort presenting and discussing complex topics in public
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with developing reporting within BI platforms, such as Domo, Looker, or Tableau
- Direct to consumer industry experience
