The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and maintain all aspects of quality assurance and regulatory compliance: Managing food safety, performing audits for product safety and quality, maintaining all compliance documentation, and ensuring that Lotus Foods products comply with the requirements for Organic (NOP), Fair Trade, Kosher, FDA registration, NLEA and food handling certification.
The Ideal Candidate will have these qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in QA and/or R&D in the food industry, with employment history supporting professional growth
- Undergraduate degree in food science or related field
- Ideally, will have prior work experience in organic (NOP) & Fair Trade Industries
- Demonstrated familiarity with food safety standards and audits (GFSI, HACCP, FSMA, FSVP)
- Familiar with Kosher, Halal, and Organic certification requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Foreign language – a plus (Chinese, French, Spanish, German, Thai)
- Valid passport and ability to travel to our contract manufacturers around the world.
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- HACCP Certification preferred
