THE OPPORTUNITY:

hint® water, one of the fastest growing beverage companies in the market, is looking for a dynamic and strategic individual to join our leadership team as Head of Brand Marketing. This role will be based out of our San Francisco or New York office. This person will be responsible for expanding our brand, managing our brand marketing team and building awareness of the hint® mission.

The perfect candidate will possess the creativity and project management ability to push the hint® brand forward solidifying our place in the market as a must-have beverage and health focused lifestyle brand. They must also be highly analytical and able to measure the impact and success of these efforts. We are looking for a results-driven individual who is passionate about the company’s mission and product and dedicated to the growth of our brand as a leader in the beverage industry.

 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH:

As our Head of Brand Marketing, you will have the unique opportunity to work directly with our award-winning CEO, Kara Goldin. Kara’s passion for hint® is exceeded only by her dedication to make healthier lifestyles a reality for everyone. Since 2005, Kara has been instrumental in creating healthier beverage options and making healthier lifestyle choices easy, enjoyable and accessible. 

In addition to Kara, you’ll work with our:

  • Chief Operating Officer, Theo Goldin
  • Creative Director
  • Public Relations and Social Media Team
  • Direct to Consumer and E-commerce Team
  • Field Marketing Team

 

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:

  • Elevate the hint® brand through exciting, unique and memorable campaigns
  • Develop and execute clear brand marketing strategy that aligns with hint®'s mission and business growth objectives
  • Lead all functions of the brand marketing organization including brand, PR, Field Marketing, experiential and editorial
  • Build powerful messaging to communicate hint®’s mission and foster an emotional relationship between the hint® brand and our customers
  • Partner with the executive and creative teams to develop a clear brand vision
  • Utilize insight tools to measure brand awareness, influencer strategy performance and the success digital and PR efforts
  • Leverage sales data and customer insights to provide strategic recommendations
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators and maintain a results-driven team and brand direction
  • Drive the growth of our brand as we expand our product line which currently includes: hint®hintsparkling®, hint® sunscreen and lip balm

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Graduate Degree Preferred
  • 8-15 years proven marketing experience building innovative high-impact branding campaigns in Senior Management or Director level position
  • Extensive knowledge in CPG and lifestyle brand management
  • Experience developing talent and managing cross-functional teams with remote individuals
  • Knowledge of marketing trends, best practices, and tools of the trade with a curiosity and thirst for continuous discovery and learning.
  • Highly collaborative nature and ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizations
  • Bias towards action: results-driven and able to utilize data to drive growth in a fast-paced, competitive industry
  • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves style, used to working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Passionate about a healthy lifestyle, nutrition and promoting a product that enables customers to make healthy choices without sacrificing taste
  • Remote work is not an option for this role
