Ample Foods is looking for a Designer, reporting to the VP of Marketing.
Ample is on a mission to make good nutrition so simple that everyone can lead a healthier, more productive life. We create satisfying, drinkable meals made from nutritious ingredients for health-conscious yet time-starved people.
The right candidate is creative and versatile, attentive to pixel perfect detail, and can navigate from brand, web, print, packaging, all the way to video and advertising, while engaging and delighting our target audience with beautiful, authentic, and powerful visual communication.
The role is an opportunity to help build a global food brand and create a very valuable business. Ample establishing an example of how a food company can use science and technology to improve people’s health and create a very profitable business in the process.
Responsibilities

- Retouch photos with graphic & text overlays for web on desktop & mobile.
- Shoot and animate text & overlay graphics for short-form video content.
- Create banners, postcards & stickers.
- Edit videos for mobile and desktop.
- Ideate and test unique visual advertising and marketing concepts.
Qualifications
-
- BA/BS or equivalent degree in graphic design, or related quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years as graphic designer and video editing experience.
- Proven experience on consumer packaged goods within the food and beverage categories.
- Proficiency with graphic design and video editing tools (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator Premiere Pro or Final Cut, etc)
- Be detail-oriented with every assignment, checking back against the creative brief to ensure all mandatories and objectives are achieved
- Write and create brand guidelines
- Take responsibility for ensuring work meets demanding deadlines
