Full Job Description
hint, one of the fastest growing beverage companies in the market, is looking for an entrepreneurial and analytical individual to join our team as a Brand Manager, Personal Care to help scale hint’s expansion as a lifestyle brand.
 
Reporting directly to the SVP, Sales, the Brand Manager will formulate strategy and execute tactics to drive product awareness and trial in new and existing markets, lead the development of sales support tools, shopper programs and marketing support to increase distribution and velocity. 
 
The perfect candidate will be independent, strategic and collaborative. They will partner with Sales Leadership to identify key support tactics across channels to communicate and implement in a timely manner. This is an operator role vs creative.

WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE:

    • Support the creation and execution of the business growth objectives for sunscreen within the Retail & Food Service Sales channels
    • Lead annual and long-term strategic brand planning
    • Own strategy and development of In-Store Experience including: POS, Shopper Program, Bundle Offers & Merchandise
    • Partner with Sales to identify & execute strategic growth at Retail
    • Create sales support systems to allow for local customization of tools including POS, Dealer Loaders, Premiums, Bundle Programs and Merchandising Tools
    • Lead ideation and development of brand premiumsLead cross-functional team to deliver accurate forecasts & monitor sales shipments
    • Collaborate with external marketing agency and internal creative resources including briefing, budgeting, creative processes, approvals, and delivery of materials
    • Lead new item market introduction plans and assist in creative development working across sales channels and cross-functionally within hint
    • Manage the business day-to-day including budgets and execution of programs
    • Create and maintain key customer selling story & decks
    • Develop and maintain complex analyses (shipment sales, distributor portal, customer sales, pricing and trade spend and other various resources) across all aspects of the business to understand current situation and develop plans to win (short and long term) in the marketplace 
    • Identify insights and build an innovation strategy that will consistently drive brand expansion
    • Implement marketing solutions that also meet financial, supply, sales & operation needs of the business
    • Own the Sunscreen Retail & Food Service P&L and responsible for top & bottom line performance.

WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

    • MBA or equivalent business experience which includes 5+ years proven brand management
    • At least 3 years experience in CPG
    • You are a great end-to-end marketer with strong brand marketing skills and proven leadership experience
    • You have excellent marketing acumen and strategically utilize data and work with creative resources to develop consumer preferred brands
    • Solid Leadership and Influencing Management Skills: self-starting, inquisitive, You understand Brand Strategy, Positioning and Brand Equity have the knowledge of tools used to drive increases in volume while maintaining a high value brand equity (i.e., marketing programs, product/packaging innovation, pricing strategies that drive value, channel/customers programs, and/or partnerships)
    • Marketing Innovation (Product & Package)
    • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and tools of the trade with a curiosity and thirst for continuous discovery and learning
    • Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves style, used to working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Passionate about a healthy lifestyle, nutrition and promoting a product that enables customers to make healthy choices without sacrificing taste.
